Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary
Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary is another important Maharashtra wildlife sanctuary. Nagzira Sanctuary which is also known as the open outdoor museum is home to many flora and fauna. The name Nagzira came from the ‘Nag’ temple of Mahadeva which is in the middle of the sanctuary.
One can find mammals, birds, and different other invertebrates in the sanctuary. Them, the Nagzira Wildlife sanctuary is famous for sambar, wild dog, cheetah, mouse deer, and many other forms of wildlife and it is one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in Maharashtra.
