Mulamkuzhi Waterfalls
Originating from the Mulamkuzhi River, this waterfall, although smaller than most of the other falls in the state, is one of the most prominent in Kerala. Set amidst mystic mountains, a lush green forest, and beautiful lakes, Mulamkuzhi Waterfalls is known for its crystal clear waters, which is why swimming and bathing are popular here.
It is also believed that the water that falls atop the hilly ranges is medicated and that bathing in the stream of the falls can cure a variety of skin diseases. It is also said that the water gets its medicinal properties from the powerful herbs that the falls’ water passes through in the hilly terrain.
