Kabini Wildlife Reserve is popular for being the home to one of the single largest congregations of Asiatic Elephants. Apart from that, Kabini is known for sheltering animals like leopards, panthers, sambhar, spotted deer, chital and bison, and many endangered and rare species as well.

This wildlife sanctuary is situated on the bank of the Kabini River and is part of the famous Nagarhole National Park.
