Green Lake
The North-Sikkim is the least explored part of Sikkim, thus abundant in natural treasures that are mostly untouched. For the peace seekers, the Lachen Monastery which is just 4 km from Lachen Village; the base for starting the trek to Green Lake, definitely makes for a must-visit. Then, explore the forty species of rhododendron trees nurturing in the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, which is located just 22 km from Lachen Village.
