Chandubi Waterfalls Assam

Chandubi can be reached by 2 roads, one from Guwahati city bypass and ISBT via Deepor Beel, through Rani bazaar, and Rani reserve forest. To go to the lake, one has to take a right turn from the broad road going to Patharkhamba, Meghalaya.

Another road going from LGBI airport bifurcates to the left from national highway 37 at Mirza town. The road going from Mirza passes through villages and paddy fields then through the tea garden.

One can enjoy rural Assam and the beauty of tea gardens while driving toward Chandubi.

Both roads meet at a point before reaching Chandubi.

Since public transport is not available to Chandubi regularly, one has to either take a private vehicle or hire a rental car. Or adventurous tourists can travel by shared vans from Mirza.

The distance between Chandubi from Mirza is 30km, from LGB airport is 39km and from Guwahati railway station is 60km.

Chandubi is situated at a distance of around 60km from Guwahati, Assam. This lake is situated in Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council, Kamrup district, at the foothills, where Khasi and Garo hills meet.

The best time to go outdoor and enjoy nature is as the heat and bright sun are not there and also without rain, there is no food or waterlogging and roads are usually in good conditions. So, the ideal time to visit Chandubi is the winter days, from October to April.
