History

Situated on Altinho Hill sitting above the Fontainhas area in Panjim, the glorious Maruti Temple is a Hindu temple committed to Lord Hanuman. One of the loveliest temples in Panaji, Goa, the icon of Lord Hanuman can be seen from the fundamental street through an opening in the storm cellar of the temple. An invigorating stream likewise streams adjacent to the temple, loaning it a quieting but, reviving atmosphere. The temple is amazingly lit up around evening time and is obvious from a good way.

This spring has three tanks where water collects from the mountain before flowing into a reservoir.
