Malwala Palace is located at Charminar City, Moghalpura, Hyderabad District, Telangana State in India. It is the only palace with wooden artifacts as its major construction material in Hyderabad. It was the rear palace built in 1845 by Sagar Mall of Malwa origin who built this marvel palace in the Mughal and Rajputana pattern.

It was famous for its wooden pavilion, which was well crafted and designed in such a way that nowhere in Hyderabad such works can be seen. To reach her one must come to Hyderabad and move towards the Charminar area. Hyderabad is well connected by Railways with all major cities in India. It has an International Air Port which connects the domestic and international links. By road also it is well connected to Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata.

History of Malwala Palace

The Malwala palace was built in the year 1845. The palace is believed to have belonged to the Dewan Chandulal, one of the prime members of the Malwala family. In the history of India, there is a lot more which has been mentioned about the palace — depicting how the palace played a crucial role during the reign of the Nizams, who rules the state for two centuries. Architecture of Malwala Palace

Malwala Palace is a unique palace built on the Rajputana and Mughal combinations of architectural works. The palace was built out of granites, limestones, sandstones, and wood. Special woods were brought from Rangoon (Burma) including the strong teak woods for its interior structure works. The lacquered wood was used in large arches in the palace. On its pavilion, remarkable craftsmanship is tendered, which is not seen anywhere in the history of Hyderabad Palaces.

This palace was splendid in its design and architecture. It consists of many small and large rooms, a big library Hall, and large halls for social and cultural events. It was divided into two wings namely the western and eastern. The Malwa family stayed in the eastern wing and the western wings were used for official purposes. It has many galleries with lovely paintings made of Vegetable Dies. In the center, it had a garden with a fountain.
